We are heartbroken to announce the passing of beloved SCF Foundation Board of Director Mark F. Morin, of Siesta Key Florida. Mark’s passion was SCFF Scholarship Students and revitalizing SCFF Sundays at Neel Entertainment Series. Mark was always about how to connect SCFF’s Mission to our deserving students. He had many proud SCF moments but his most favorite would be SCFF’s Scholarship Luncheon were he and Alix (his wife) could meet and have conversations with ‘their’ SCF Students. Mark was a military veteran, high ranking IBM executive before he retired to Sarasota County, father of two sons and one daughter, and proud grandfather. He was 71 years old.

Services will be held February 25th, 2018 at the Neel Performing Arts Center on SCF's Bradenton campus.

In lieu of flowers, the family is asking for donations to the Mark and Alix SCF Scholarship Fund at the SCF Foundation.

We are so blessed to have known Mark, experience his quick humor, contagious smile, dedication to SCF Students (and those he tutored), and passion for moving SCFF’s Mission forward. I know this loss is going to be difficult on all of us.
